One of her firewalls was broken, she leaned on the wall, temperature of the surface registered by her prosthetic arm was displayed in her view field.

“Merde! When you will surrender? You…ngh…trying the entire day already!”

She was trying to take a peaceful day off.

Headache and constant rewriting of personal security protocols ruined that idea.

“Okay connard, eat this!”

Irene reached inner part of her mind and started to reinforce it.

With the power of her thoughts, she changed the encryption of memory implants inside her head.

Not only that, but Irene also left a surprise, a little virus that will hit a person who will try to hack her brain, the dire situation requires dire measures.

One more firewall broke than silence for a few seconds, than shock wave hit her hard enough to threw her to the floor.

“Argh…didn’t work? What’s now? You will incinerate me?!”

“Hmmm, that’s actually a good idea by the way,” she put on her malicious smile.

Irene lifted up dozens of simple firewalls and makes the process of their construction automated, “Now, I will hit back you A-hole!”

Inside her mind, she wrote a small script, the pain meanwhile increased to the intolerant level.

“You so concentrated on hacking my brain…guess you wouldn’t mind if I overload yours with requests!”

A few seconds pressure on her mind was increasing, then it’s vanished. Data of her attacker flowed in her mind. The brain of poor girls just cooked them-self.

Irene’s legs refused to obey so she just kept sitting on the floor.

“Sean, make a report to the department about that case. Also, make a request for medical help,” Irene out of habit whispered command to her AI assistant.

“ One more, make a cold bath, I need to cool my body.”
